Jekyll Realty is a property manager with approximately 150 vacation rental homes located on Jekyll Island, on the Georgia coast.  Beginning in 2019, Jekyll added digital marketing and website services and expanded the partnership with RedAwning for both distribution and direct booking.

Jekyll wanted to improve overall revenue from both direct bookings and distribution efforts.  They were in need of a new website and booking engine.

The Solution

In Q1, 2019, Jekyll launched a new website and marketing strategies with Blizzard Internet Marketing, the digital marketing division of RedAwning.  Jekyll was now positioned to leverage both distribution and digital marketing services offered by RedAwning across their entire portfolio.  With regular marketing strategy meetings, in just a few months, the results were very positive.

WEBSITE + DIRECT BOOKINGS

Compared to the same period last year, the new website clearly out performed.   Within the first 4 months we drove higher conversion rates and direct online business continues to grow.  The increase in Booking Revenue represents a 6-figure revenue increase with continued growth and accelerating pace.  The website saw triple digit site visitation growth, increased Brand and property exposure.  With new users comes new guests.  The time spent on site is also up, all very positive indicators for Google.

DISTRIBUTION

Channel results also outperformed the previous year resulting in increased booking revenue. Booking.com saw increase in Summer growth and paced well ahead for October and the fall season.  Airbnb also drove incremental revenue over shoulder winter and fall periods.
