Chief Financial Officer

The RedAwning Group is an Emeryville, CA based company that is the world’s largest branded network for vacation home rentals. We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer ready to jump into a fast moving, rapidly growing early stage company in a very large category.
The chosen candidate will have a leadership role in our M&A strategy and financial decision-making. If you have corporate development experience and a financial background in the Travel Arena or other internet companies, along with strong experience in corporate acquisitions and sales, then this might be the right opportunity for you. This position will be based in Emeryville, CA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Execute the financial strategy of the company and develop financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting expertise
  • Develop domestic and foreign growth plans, working closely with the CEO and accounting team
  • Support strategic contract negotiations
  • Represent the company in meetings and work closely with the Board and external auditors
  • Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
  • Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
  • Desire and ability to dig into detailed issues when required
  • Lead the financial analysis and diligence process related to an expected stream of regular acquisitions
  • Salary will be competitive with benefits and stock options

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Has led a major financing or sale of a company as CFO or completed an IPO
  • Corporate development experience. Experience running point on multiple acquisitions/sales
  • Experience in a high growth company, preferably internet and/or travel related
  • Experience with merchant credit card collections B to C
  • Strong background in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic results oriented thinking and planning

Content Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prolific content creator with strong graphic design and copy writing skills needed to help team plan, write and create content in all forms for web, digital and print.

This role requires an artistic eye, attention to detail, excellent design and communication skills with a knack for writing both B2B and B2C copy. The candidate should be comfortable working on web platforms such as Drupal and WordPress, have a good understanding of branding, and show flexibility in creating a wide variety of digital and print collateral for a wide variety of key needs in the RedAwning Group. The RedAwning Group includes a Collection of Properties, a Distribution Network for Property Managers and Owners, Internet Marketing Services, A Real-Estate Program and a Travel Agent Booking tool. You will work cross-functionally with on-site and off-site teams as a member of the Marketing and Communications team in Emeryville.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working on multiple products and projects and to take-off with a start-up at a supersonic level.

We’re seeking an IT Generalist with hands-on expertise across multiple OS platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux) coupled with exceptional interpersonal & customer support skills to help manage our growing IT environment. Reporting to the Director of IT, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and support of our end-user workstations and peripherals, WiFi network, office telephony, AV equipment, and application access & user account administration. You will provide system administration services for our cloud-based Linux and Windows servers, including monitoring, patch management & version control and help develop automation routines for an evolving CI/CD infrastructure. And you will help develop standard operating procedures, author and update documentation and perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

You should be organized, highly detail-oriented, self-motivated and willing to tackle a broad cross-section of IT challenges. Your drive, enthusiasm and excellent written and verbal communication skills will also be highly valued by our team.
